Goodtype is excited to bring you Chalkboard Lettering with Lauren Hom!
Join us for a 3 hour afternoon lettering workshop in Los Angeles. The event will cover:
How to work with chalk and chalk markers
Chalkboard lettering techniques, styles, and flourishes
How to create eye-catching and dynamic layouts
Lauren’s top lettering tips & tricks to make your work look, as Lauren says, “classy as fuck”
By the end of the workshop, you'll have the skills to create chalk signs, menu boards, and murals. We’d call this somewhere between a beginner and intermediate class. Basic knowledge of letterforms and some prior practice are required for this class, but you do not need to be an expert letterer!
The price of the workshop also includes:
Small personal chalkboard, chalk, chalk markers, pencils, and paper (all yours to keep after the class)
Unlimited compliments and positive affirmations from yours truly
The workshop will be held on 11th street in Santa Monica. Afterwards, join Lauren Hom and Goodtype founders Brooke Robinson and Emily Crubaugh for a Goodtype get together open to the Los Angeles lettering community.
