Chalkboard Lettering with Lauren Hom San Francisco!

  • Fort Mason Center Room C 205 San Francisco USA (map)

This event is SOLD OUT! You can still sign up for our SF community meet up on July 1st. Sign up for our newsletter to be the first to hear about upcoming workshops.

People signed up so quickly for Lauren Hom's workshop in LA, we decided to add an event in San Francisco! Please join us with one of our favorite badass lady letterers.

WORKSHOP DETAILS
Join us for a 3 hour afternoon lettering workshop on July 1st. The event will cover:

  • How to work with chalk and chalk markers

  • Chalkboard lettering techniques, styles, and flourishes

  • How to create eye-catching and dynamic layouts

  • Lauren’s top lettering tips & tricks to make your work look, as Lauren says, “classy as fuck”

By the end of the workshop, you'll have the skills to create chalk signs, menu boards, and murals. We’d call this somewhere between a beginner and intermediate class. Basic knowledge of letterforms and some prior practice are required for this class, but you do not need to be an expert letterer!

The price of the workshop also includes:

  • Small personal chalkboard, chalk, chalk markers, pencils, and paper (all yours to keep after the class)

  • Unlimited compliments and positive affirmations from yours truly

WHERE
The workshop will be held at Fort Mason in San Francisco. Afterwards, join Lauren Hom and Goodtype founders Brooke Robinson and Emily Crubaugh for a Goodtype get together open to the San Francisco lettering community.
